Rabino Jaime Araújo nasceu em Itapitanga, Bahia/Brasil. Conheceu Jesus através da Igreja Batista. Ingressou na Missão Jocum (Jovens Com Uma Missão) em 1975 e trabalhou durante 40 anos. Foi fundador e diretor da Jocum no nordeste do Brasil, posteriormente mudou-se para Richmond, Virgínia (EUA) onde foi diretor da Jocum local. Fez vários cursos teológicos e começou a trabalhar no Ministério entre os Judeus Messiânicos. Em 2011 retornou ao Brasil para ser líder (Rosh) da Sinagoga Messiânica Moreshet Yeshua (Herdeiros de Jesus) em Salvador, BA. Em 2016 voltou para Richmond, Virgínia (EUA) para ser Rabino na Sinagoga Messiânica Or HaOlam (A luz do mundo) e atualmente servindo o Senhor Jesus. Casado com Maristela Araújo, tem 3 filhos casados e 4 netos. É membro da Câmara Arbitral Nacional (CAM) em Salvador,BA.

Rabbi Jaime Araújo was born in Itapitanga, Bahia/Brazil. He met Jesus through the Baptist Church. He joined the Jocum Mission (Youth With A Mission) in 1975 and worked for 40 years. He was founder and director of Yycum in northeastern Brazil, later moved to Richmond, Virginia (USA) where he was director of the local Yocum.
He took several theological courses and began working at the Ministry among the Messianic Jews. In 2011 he returned to Brazil to be leader (Rosh) of the Messianic Synagogue Moreshet Yeshua (Heirs of Jesus) in Salvador, BA. In 2016 he returned to Richmond, Virginia (USA) to be Rabbi at the Messianic Synagogue Or HaOlam (The Light of the World) and currently serving the Lord Jesus. Married to Maristela Araújo, he has 3 married children and 4 grandchildren. He is a member of the National Arbitration Chamber (CAM) in Salvador, BA.
